What print could be more appropriate for Valentine's Day than J. Crew's Heartthrob print. This print has become my favorite print from J. Crew and is definitely boarding on an obsession. An intervention may be in store! I just wanted to post my favorite ways to wear J. Crew's heartthrob print for anyone who also has items in this pattern and are looking for some inspiration. Here are the links to the past outfit roundups these were posted in:
High waisted skirt with a top that creates a modern take on 1950s style
Matching red accessories with hearttrob
Pairing the matching skirt and shirt to create the illusion of a dress - add belt and cardigan
Put a denim jacket over it with your cuffs and collar peaking out
When in doubt, go monochromatic and pair heartthrob with all black (or navy!)
For fun match it with an unexpected print, like polka dot chambray
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
Make sure you dress to impress ;)

ReplyDeleteVery cute ideas! I wore my heartthrob blouse to work yesterday with a black wool suit and got lots of compliments; ITA that it's one of the best patterns J.Crew has ever come up with. Have a happy Valentine's Day!

OMG I bought my FIRST Heartthrob print at the Factor the other day and it was one of the rare purchases I had to wear THE NEXT DAY because I was so excited. Your blog definitely inspired the purchased. I totally get why you love it so much.
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm so glad you did!! You will definitely get a lot of use out of this print. The color goes so well with many outfits making heartthrob incredibly versatile! Perfect way to bring a pop of red into your step ;) I too just ordered the factory cardigan and girls blouse (hope it fits) in heartthrob! Excited to recieve them :)
DeleteLove it ! I actually wore the B&W blouse version of that one and it was just perfect for v day, or any other one for that matter.
